So I never posted my labor/delivery story. I know not everyone is interested, but this being my third baby and the first time I was ever induced I thought it might be helpful to other moms. Being induced sucks, I'll say that first off. I got to the hospital at 8am on Wednesday the 6th, I was dialated to a 3 and 80% effaced already, so they started my pitocin around noon. I immediately started having contractions, and my midwife broke my water around 3pm. After that it all went downhill. My contractions got so severe I cried like a sissy, but they were unbareable. Worst part is I wasn't really dilating even though I was contracting hard every two minutes. By midnight I couldn't take it anymore, only being at a 7, and I gave in and got the epidural like my midwife suggested. I started to doze off, and kept feeling painful contractions even through the epidural. So they checked me and my daughters head was about to pop out! I pushed for 2 minutes and baby girl was finally born at 3:35 the next morning. 🎀💕
Yes I wanted to go natural, no epidural, but I didn't know the kinds of contractions pitocin could bring on. My labor was like 15 hours, and my last baby was only 4. It was crazy and painful but it all came down to the push and she came out so quickly and was so beautiful it was totally worth it 💗 @anuheas.mommy
Same thing pretty much happened to me
