!!!!LABOR STORY!!!!
Saturday at 1AM, lost my mucus plug/bloody show, and I was freaking out! A couple of hours later I had cramping, but felt like BH just a little stronger. They came and went, but felt stronger with each hour. Didn't sleep that whole night! I called the midwife at my hospital and told her I lost it and was having really bad cramping and she told me I was fine and was prob just having BH contractions.
The next day I was having what I thought were strong BH contractions every 10-15 mins, but the new City Target had opened across the st from my MiL house in Fenway, (go Red Sox! ⚾️) and I had to coupon (it is a big coupon week!) so, I went to Target and couponed, hurled over in pain every 10 minutes, coupons in hand 😂😂😢
Went home, contractions were really intense and came every 3-4mins, so around 3am I called the hospital again and said I'm having really bad pains, and I can barely walk. They take my breath away and I think I'm in labor. Again, she said I would be screaming and unable to be so "chatty" if I was in labor, and to stay home and go to sleep. Obviously I couldn't sleep with these killer contractions every 2-3 mins now!
Monday morning, July 27 contractions were now every 1-2 minutes, intense like someone was rilling out my insides, I tried rocking on the glider in the nursery, tried soaking in the bathtub, but I was in tears from the pain and from lack of sleep for two nights now, so I told hubby if these aren't labor pains I'm not waiting until I'm actually in labor. Let's to go the hospital and get the Epidural (my plan was to go natural) and he's like ok let's go.
Arrived at the hospital around 10:15, got admitted, sat around moaning while the nurses told me relax, you'll catch your breath, we will get you a room in a minute. Meanwhile I'm in a wheelchair doubled over barely able to breathe. I thought I was going to pass out from the pain!
Got into a room, they listened to baby's heartbeat, and midwife came in to check for dilation. "Oh my god I don't even feel much cervix. You're 9cm dilated honey let's go push!" I almost passed out at that point! I told her I can't do this it hurts soooo bad. But we got into a room, I pushed for the longest ten minutes of my life and out he came!
I tore and got stitches, but not from end to end thank god. Still sore and uterus is cramping but everything else is going well. Breastfeeding is so hard! We will get there though! Third night of no sleep so don't mind the bags under my eyes hahaha
And yes I am going to hunt down that darn midwife who told me to stay at home cuz I was fine and not in labor! Smh I had a CVS coupon trip planned for yesterday, but I'll take Ezra any day! So glad I pulled through with my plan though. It feels so empowering! Not saying next time I'd do it again 😂😂😂

@lovegod89, lol tell me about it! I guess the midwife who delivered my baby was in shock and told all the other midwives that I was 9 cm dilated when I arrived to the hospital then had to wait in the waiting room for a room to be available! Smh
@lovegod89, lol I have no idea I didn't want her fired just more aware that women have varying levels of pain thresholds to avoid labor complications that's all! Smh
Lol OMG did she got fired? Or did anything happen to her because what she did was speechless she actually risk your life and the baby @tracynangel

We both ended up delivering naturally and I also felt like I was going to pass out from the pain but all worth it .

your story is kind of like mine except I didn't call the hospital because my water broke at my mom's house the day I was suppose to be induced
Everyone is different I think but yes I couldn't handle the pain at the end anymore hahaha I was ready to crack
@brightsunsett, I totally didn't believe it hahaha but remember I supposedly wasn't in labor?! @livd15 I wouldn't say tolerable hahaha a few hours before pushing was hell! That's what made me think I can't do natural but it actually wasn't that bad now that I know it was labor

I'm at the dr currently to see if there is any changes in my cervix but other than that 2 more fkn days!!!

@tracynangel That is an amazing story! I would have smacked the hell out of that midwife! I would definitely be calling in a complaint because on top of giving you bad advice she was rude! I thought for sure you where gonna have that baby in the middle of Target!

@firstbaby_girl, you were telling me I was in labor! I only trusted her because I didn't wanna go in and get sent home! I should've listened to the preggies and gone in anyway cuz I felt like I was dying!!! @courtney_boyea even said people tolerate pain differently and don't necessarily scream ugh if I ended up delivering him at home and there were complications with him or me (my uterus wasn't getting harder so they had to do some stuff to stop the bleeding) that would've been all her freaking fault! If I wanted a home birth I would've had that in my plan lady!
I would have smacked that midwife. not every woman in labor is screaming and yelling from contractions. always trust your instincts mama! you did great!

did every ones SO go to EVERY dr appointment with them?? im at my appointment and its not an ultrasound or anything so i told my boyfriend he can stay home and sleep... im here and everyone has their guy with them.. im feeling lonely now:/
I honestly can't wait for the intense pain of contractions, to go in labor and have my husband by my side each step of the way, finally pushing our daughter out info the world just the thought just makes me so emotional and excited I CAN'T WAIT FOR SEPTEMBER ,
I have a low tolerance of pain so I’m screwed either way 😂 but I am going to get through a natural birth no matter what!
Quick question: Are the contractions or pushing the most painful?
I’ve felt contractions with my first and omg. But I didn’t experience the pushing. He was way to tiny.
I think I'm going into labor. The contractions makes me use the bathroom every 10 minutes. Every time my uterus contract it feels like I have to pee and it is so painful these contractions! 😩😫😤 the pineapple definitely helped lol thanks guys!

I even tried telling her that i was still working for three years with gallbladder completely filled to the brim with gallstones and that pain was honestly comparable to labor! And she was like trust me labor is unlike anything else @lovegod89 I just hope she readjusts her response to the next mom in distress!
