@skyfullofstars344, no we didn't have wood floors, we had carpet. I would probably exchange the swing out for the one you want, especially with a bigger dog - ours are both ankle biters. I guess if I give a gift that is something the person has on a registry and I go rogue, I assume there is a possibility of it getting exchanged.

yeah I think I will we aren't people who travel much anyways and my husband had suggested just leaving it in the closet but it seems like waste not to give it to someone who might need or want it. @aphrodite2014

@skyfullofstars344, I don't blame you for being hesitant on spending I was too fortunately my family has bought everything.. but I'd say regift it and thay will be a wash you don't have to spend money on the gift but you get what you want

we have a big lab/retriever mix that's 100 pounds and takes up so much space he has no manners and I am afraid he'd be in her face licking her or kicking her plus our terriers I have this image in my head of one of them jumping in the swing. can we say paranoid? lol @mamamj do you have wood floors? I don't have carpet so my floors feel pretty cold in the winter.

we used a portable with our first that was low to the ground - we are in ND, have 2 dogs and there were 2 cats (not ours) in that house as well

we had a swing on the registry and they went rogue and bought us this one. we can afford the swing we want but at the same time I am super anxious about spending lately. @aphrodite2014 good idea on regifting I might do that since we can't return it my sister is pregnant and she might be able to use it.

I would, but only because there are perks to a regular swing but there are perks to a portable swing too. they could both be useful.

was this just a buy like not off your registry?.. if anything I'd regift it and get what you want if you can afford it
