Ok... bc I'm paranoid... I'm 9 weeks... my friends pit bull, that weighs 100 pounds just jumped up and gut punched me on accident... hard enough to leave a good bruise and it's very sore... should I go to the hospital and get checked just to make sure??

my dog used to do that. I put my knee up to stop him when he does it. one day he came down ar the same time I pulled my knee up and his jaw collided with my knee cap. he was fine, left a huge knot and bruise on my knee, but he stopped doing it so much. he would kick my belly when he jumped up and I told my doctor about it and she said as long as there's no pain afterward, that it's ok. they're protected by the amniotic fluid so it takes alot to injure them

call your ob and let him know ask what they would do. mine told me you'd be amazed at how much baby can handle. I have this dude and he used to pounce on my stomach like a trampoline.but Now that the baby is bigger I try to avoid allowing him to get too rough with me. but when I was around 7-9 weeks he liked to push down on my belly a lot. it used to scare me until everyone told me its no big deal. but if it concerns you, definitely call and get checked
