Don't sit on hard chairs. Glob on some over the counter hemorrhoid cream or better yet get your doc to prescribe some. Use the hemorrhoid wipes. Good luck, it sucks!

a warm bath sounds like a great idea...I hope they go away soon

TMI but I've had diarrhea the last two days and it did not help my hemorrhoids so after going I took a warm bath and it seemed to help ease the pain

Cool wash cloth on it.
