Golf club- especially in winter. Rates are lower than a hotel but it's a nice venue. Negotiate a cheap brunch. (Random info: I'm an event planner.)

@calling smommy, definitely not May but early April may work depending on location. Think this way: if it's cold and people don't want to golf for 4 hours outside prices drop.

A beach venue in cold weather (inside with windows would still be nice) works well that way too!
