my husband and I have been trying for a year, diagnosed with pcos, went to the doctors about 2 months ago and was put on metformin 500 twice daily and levothyroxine. I've been on both medications for 2 months hopefully trying to conceive and feel like I'm not getting anywhere!! has anyone took metformin and actually conceived? If so how long were you on metformin until you got pregnant?

I have PCOS and I took metformin but my doctor told me not to take it and I've been TTC for 6 months and no luck. I feel the same way about it. I also have hypothyroidism. My regular doctor told me I might be one that will be hard to get pregnant which makes me feel more sad and I'm trying to be positive but I feel like it won't. I wish I could because it's hard see others are and I cant. I hate when people can be out with every guy and get pregnant but I'm married and can't. I just wish it was different. :)
