My little girl is 12 days old and feeding every 2 hours for about 20-30 mins a time and my midwife said its probably because she's having a growth spurt 😊 hope you get some sleep tonight xx

sucking his fingers is just a comfort thing for him. They feed alot if having a growth spurt. only lasts a few days. My girl fed on breast at night every 2 hours until she was 4 weeks old. my girl sucks her hands and night as well. talk to your midwife just incase your not producing enough milk for him. x

@bee1979, he is 10 days old, Iam just breastfeeding . @baby316 is it normal to keep wanting to feed ? I can tell he has enough milk but keeps sucking his fingers after the feeds especially at night

Yes I had sleepless nights when I was breast feeding as baby wasn't getting enough milk. This change when I put my little girl onto formula though.
