@mommy_baby_e, I wasn't planning on smoking after pregnancy cause I was gonna breastfeed but my baby wasn't latching on right :/ so I started smoking , makes being a mom a whole lot easier lol jk :b

@mommy_baby_e, not at all, only a very minimal amount is said to transfer to the breastmilk, and I only smoke enough to take the edge off.... she's been very consistent in behavior since birth. most people who smoke during pregnancy say they have a very laidback baby, but I can tell my girl is going to want to be very active already lol!!!

@kattastrophe, do you notice a difference in your child after you take a hit and breast feed? Like eating, sleeping, or behavior patterns?

I use to smoke as well but haven't in a long time due to pregnancy and now breast feeding! I plan to pick it back up when I can! Lol I feel like as long as I still do all that I need to there is nothing wrong with it.

@arlene2712, don't feel bad at all, they prescribe opiates after a c-section. there's far worse you could put in your body

And once I found out I quit cold turkey and had nausea up till like 5 months then it came back when I was 8 months and smoked a tiny bit towards the last month ... I just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one ! I smoke because it keeps me calm and Keeps me from feeling all depressed .. Just don't wanna feel bad for doing it -.-

smoked for nausea during pregnancy, and my almost 4 month old is very happy and talkative, I see no development delays (in fact, she's ahead in some ways).... I breastfeed and will occasionally have a small hit, but mostly because it helps my headaches and nausea ,plus it keeps me calm

Before and during first trimester. I quit, but couldn't keep anything down so I smoked a tiny bit just to get the nutrition she needed. My baby girl is 7 months now and is very smart and alert. I did a lot of research on it and cannabis actually has a lot of positive effects during pregnancy, and much better than the pills western medicine doctors try to shove down your throat for nausea. I haven't picked it back up though. With a little one at home we've gotta stay alert 100%.

I used to be a HUGE pothead before the pregnancy but quite shortly before we conceived...haven't smoked since then cuz I'm breastfeeding, I'm almost 5 months pp and I have moments where I really want to but it passes lol...I used to smoke to relax because I have really bad anxiety and it was an added bonus that it helped with my back pain....I miss it lol

oh lmao I did smoke weed then I found out I was pregnant I havnt smoked it since then cause I brestfeed and I don't want my baby gettong it threw my breast milk but if I didn't breastfeed I'd be smoking it lmao
