I went to sign up for w.i.c today and they said they have a baby shower they were gonna sign me up for when I get closer to my due date.. has anyone been to one? I wanna know what it's like.

@melox_90, @callumsmommy @aubreysmommy021016 I guess it's for pregnant mom's due around the same time you are, there are free refreshments, they give you a little bag of clothes and stuff and they have raffles and games so you can win bigger stuff like a stroller, bouncer, etc. I've never heard of this until today.

usually your nutritionist health provider does the baby shower and I guess in some areas wic does too. but anywho...They set a day where they gather all the women due in or around the same month as you. You eat a lunch and get to know each other. Then you play a couple of baby shower games. Usually winner gets tickets. The tickets are for the gifts that you get at the end. It was nice.
