So when my daughter was born, I thought I would have to breast feed her with no other options. My genes are deathly allergic to formula. So my nurses tried soy based formula and it works. But even then I did try to breast feed but I just cant. She cries and gets uncomfortable, she doesnt latch and then when she does, its painful or she doesnt latch for long which leads to more crying. So to the point Im trying to get at.. I pump. I pump out my milk, put it in a bottle, and then feed her from that. Less stressful for me and for her. Its better for her kuz she doesnt cry nor does she get placed in weird positions. And for me, I know exactly how much she is eating and I dont have to end up crying either from frustration of disappointment. So does this make me such a bad mother by bottle feeding her and refusing to nurse? I feel like if I tell people that she isnt being breast fed but bottle fed instead with breast milk, that Im going to get looked down on for it... #concerned

There are moms out there who don't even breastfeed, believe me you are doing your part! When my son was born I had to strictly pump because he was in the NICU and to weak to breastfeed. Pumping is much harder so if anything your doing an amazing job! Some mothers would give up and turn to formula. And even those mothers aren't in the wrong, as long as your baby is happy and healthy that's all that matters!
