@mrshumphries, how did you manage to get pregnant? I have been on Metformin and I'm pretty sure I ovulated on the 9th for the first time! So I'm praying!
I was on the exact same meds, I also just stopped worrying and stressing about it, I made my self think that the only reason I was on metformin was just to regulate my hormones. I believe that everything will happen when you're body is ready for it, just keep taking your pills, and don't make it your main focus.
I've never had fertility drugs only birth control and I was diagnosed when I was 16 I didn't have periods on my own without birth control until I was 20. at first I wasn't ovulating but then I just started to out of the blue and a few months went by then I ended up pregnant and I'm due this April. its very much possible to. just trust your body. it will tell you what you need to do.
@anc0605, 1st I had to have surgery and get a demroid cyst removed off my left ovary and polyps on my right. then I started treatment taking letrozol 5x a day then I did a HTC trigger shot to make me ovulate. the 1st time me and my husband conceived natural but miscarried so the next cycle they added gonal f shots and we did iui
I don't think mine is that bad. I just have little cyst on my right ovary like maybe the size of a pencil tip. He has me on metformin 500mg once a day. But it doesn't seem like it's working too well. @cnctwenty12
Same here. I have a period now every 60 days and I ovulated on the 9th so we took every chance we could. So hopefully it works! How far along are you? @cnctwenty12
I have pcos and was terrified I wouldn't be able to get pregnant.. I started taking a myoinositol supplement, prenatal, and I started a very low carb diet to naturally lower my blood sugar. I got off my birth control and the next month I was pregnant! I'm now 31 weeks! So you never know.. I definitely recommend going low carb /no carb and taking a myoinositol supplement
