Anyone have any good information in circumcisions? trying to get information on pros and cons of doing it and leaving them intact.
babies only have 12 oz of blood. even if they only loose 2 of those oz they could die or need a blood transfusion.
my sister didn't circumcise her son. I know a few people that didn't. 117 baby boys die each year from complications from it. it was legal to circumcise a female up until 1997. why is it legal to do it to males but illegal to do it to females?
personally my sister had her son circumcised and he almost bled to death from the doing it wrong.. over 100 baby boys die each year from it... it's purely a cosmetic procedure now a day.. but to each there own.. mommy knows best :) but its great to do research on it
yes I agree very tricky! I personally don't think that the pros out weight the cons.
I did for my first son. My now bf, has hypospadias, (pee hole comes out the bottom and not the tip. Different degrees, his isn't that bad) bc of it and his parents not fixing it, he never got circumcised and doesn't want this baby, if it's a boy, circumcised. I only disagree bc I work in the medical field and I have seen a lot of things go wrong. But of course I don't see the ones that don't go wrong. It's tough bc God (or your higher power) developed little boys to come out with foreskin, so why change it right? It's tricky!!
I'd definitely do the research on it.

I did it for my son, less cleaning, don't have to worry about infections as much. it's pricey though because its considered cosmetic even though it has health benefits. everyone has a different opinion. I have medicaid and its not covered by that so I had to pay $250 before I left the hospital, my obgyn agreed with it being done even suggested it, but about half of the nurses(older) didn't agree with it and tried to talk me out of it. it only hurts him for a min. the put a little ring on the foreskin that cuts off circulation and falls off. super easy. hope that helps
right and I respect that. I am just wanting to get as much information on it as possible(:
I had my boys circumcised. from a medical point of view if they don't have it done they can transfer infections and if they don't clean it properly they can get infections. Working in the medical field I've seen many grown men come in having to have it done, and that is very painful as they are older. But that's just my feelings. It's not for everyone. my boys had it done and we've had no problems....
