So after my last growth ultrasound when I was 28 weeks, I was told my son was measuring larger than average, in the 95th percentile. I have another one this Friday (at 34 weeks) to see if his growth has leveled out or if he's still measuring big... a little nervous because my doctor told me if he does seem to be that big still they'll probably want to do a C section and it's nerve wracking not knowing what's gonna happen. :/ Has anyone else experienced this with their babies? This is my first child so I'm generally nervous over the whole thing and this just adds another thing to worry about haha
mine was I'm the 87th percentile last month but he didn't say it was a problem. The dad is much bigger than me so I am nervous about him getting too big too.
Oh wow, I hope everything goes well for you!! as far as I know I don't have gestational diabetes myself but I'm having my third glucose test to check again this week since apparently it's common for mommies with it to have bigger babies.
I have had that also my last appointment I was 28 weeks but measuring at 33 weeks.. they did a growth scan and she was 3.5 lbs at 28 weeks.. my doctors have mentioned having csection because I have gestational diabetes and I'm insulin dependent so I have appointment tomorrow to see what they say and I'll be 32 weeks
I haven't experienced that per say but I have had a C-Section. It wasn't a horrible experience for me and I will be having one this time too.
