Do you get your regular period when your breastfeeding your baby ? and
can you get pregnant again , if your breastfeeding? ?

my daughter is almost 3 months old & i have spotted twice but still no full blown period & im EBF. and yes you DEF can still get pregnant while breastfeeding...i have multiple friends who were born because their mamas were only using breastfeeding as their birth control lol

you can get your period back while breastfeeding. in most cases you don't, but it is a possibility. it took a month and a half after I quit bf'ing to return. it is also possible to get pregnant while bf'ing.

At about three months after having my daughter i had my regular period. i breastfed for almost 6 months and i still had my period. i kinda just went back to normal

You could get your period while breastfeeding, or not. You could also get it one month, then skip and may get it every few months or even not at all until you stop breastfeeding! The thing is, every woman is different, we all handle the hormones from breastfeeding differently so you really don't know what you're gonna get! However, this is what I DO know: You CAN get pregnant while breastfeeding, even if you haven't even HAD your period yet! The reason being, you can ovulate BEFORE you period comes back for the first time, therefore you can be ovulating at any moment and not even know! This happens a lot and then the woman won't know she's pregnant for a while til symptoms show up and she thinks oh, I should check...because she won't get a missed period, because it hasn't come back yet!!! My advice is if you don't wanna get pregnant again real quick, use protection or pick a birth control that works well with breastfeeding, preferably one without hormones like an IUD I think because the hormonal ones can mess with your milk supply!
