i have a question. my son is 6 1/2 months and has just mastered rolling over from is back to his tummy.. anyways when I lay him in his playpen (of course on his back) he rolls over on his tummy. should I flip him back to his back? I'm scared, these past 2 nights I've been waking up out of nowhere just to check if he's okay..

I would just make sure it is clear of items that can obstruct the airway like blanket and pillows dress him warm for bed. My LO slept on her tummy most of the time when she started rolling over and she was fine.

If he strong enough to roll over he's strong enough to move his head or room back over. Rest easy momma, many older moms ( like mine) said they're babies always slept on their tummys and were fine

My pediatrician said if the baby can roll all ways (back and forth from belly to back) then it's ok if they sleep on their belly.

no he's fine. if he can roll himself then his body will tell him to do himself back onto his back if he can't breath or anything
