I started at 5 months but checked with the Pediatrician first.

my husband has been giving my daughter tastes of things since she was 2 weeks (not with my permission, but she's fine lol). WIC told me that babies don't need food for nutrition until 6 months, but a lot of people introduce a little food a bit earlier. I'm just waiting until she can sit up by herself, then I'll start giving her food

@kiyaratores, I started my son at 4 months and his PED said it was perfectly fine. Also WIC doesn't start babies on baby food until 6-7 months. For my son at least he was wanting solids by then

My son eats baby food. He's 3 months old today. He's a big boy, he weighs 15 lbs already. But his dr said as long as he can handle it then it's fine. And my baby is in the average range for weight.

I started at 3 months. I did baby cereal first for a week he loved it! once I started the veggies and fruit he would get excited when we put him in his high chair.

they make 4 month baby food. but my son loves avacado

6 months is the current recommendations from the aap and who. It's best for their gut health and can help prevent eczema, allergies & obesity to wait.
