I didn't even feel it going in but the relief was instant and amazing. The feeling of being numb from the waist down took a little getting used to because you can't really move yourself in the bed.
Isn't that bad if they do the epidural in the wrong spot
You dont even feel it, your contractions hurt so bad that needle is nothing compared to it, they had to give me two the first one was in the wrong spot and i didnt feel either of them
It doesn't hurt at all I don't think they numb the area first
my contractions were so bad I didn't feel it at all
It's not painful but as they insert the needle you'll feel some pressure but not painful. At most it feels like a bee sting or a prick of the finger.
I didn't feel my epidural my last 2 births and besides while in that pain you won't even care lol
mine haven't been bad! and I was able to walk around afterwards also it never really numbed me completely
You won't see it lol my husband held my hands, I put a pillow on my lap to rest my head on. he said it was cool to watch lol
I'm the biggest baby when it comes to needles.. ugh it just scares me the closer I get the more nervous I get
my sister said they'll numb the area then put the needle in your back and after that you'll just be really numb from the waist down
The numbing part hurt to numb before they inserted the epidural but after that I just felt pressure, it wasn't awful. nowhere near the pain of my contractions lol
it is just uncomfortable really
