I'm wondering why I see all these women being induced at 40 weeks? Is it your choice or the doctors? I'm going to wait and let labor actually have a chance to happen on its own, naturally
I am being induced at 39 weeks. Ideally I would rather let it happen on babies time. But the doctor says I have some sort of renal disorder and they think its best for baby to be born by then.
you go girl! I'm only 24 weeks, maybe I'll feel differently! no judgement though!
everyone is different em not waiting no longer I feel wat ur saying but em sorry he's big and healthy em measuring 4 weeks ahead so em ready
I said usually 95% of people that are induced end up having to have a c section. not 100 %
@mrsgeorge, no I always got induce never had a c sestion induce don't mean c section
I have seen 3 doctoes, a doula, and a midwife, all of them told me you can safely go up to 3 weeks over your due date as long as you and baby are healthy.
yeah I want to avoid a c section if I can. the thing is, which is sad, is that most doctors now days push women to be induced, and push for c sections because 1. they want more money and 2. they don't want to be on someone else's watch.
My doctor said they don't let you go a week over your due date. Which if it was me I would talk to them about inducing around my due date so that I can keep it the same
@mrsgeorge, dang that's scary. I'm terrified of a c section.
doctors technically cannot force you to be induced. as long as baby is healthy, they can't make you. It's just a way for them to make more money off you. because 95% of the time if they induce you, you end up having to have a c section. so more money for them.
Totally your choice. You can safely go to 42 weeks (they'll likely monitor you and babe throughout the final week). Your due date is just an estimate and can be off give or take two weeks :) so unless its medically necessary there's no reason to induce.
but I do no you can get induced at 40 sum doctors won't let u go over 40 or even 41
I wouldn't want to be induced unless it was medically necessary. I believe if the baby is healthy, then it will come on its own. no need to rush. but that's just me.
sometimes its their choice other times their Dr can encourage it. I'm being induced tomorrow and I'll be 38&6 when they start and 39 when they break my water
I no I will be 40 next week and they better induce me em not going over hell no he cooked long enough

Thanks for all the ❤️ guys! I think I'm in shock! Labor story in a bit I'm being attacked with visitors lol

Is this the one yall drink to induce??? I'm desperate
Ok I'm 15 And Pregnant And I Don't Know What To Do. I'm Just A Freshman In High School.
Doctor rant.
Okay, someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm mad.
well that is totally understandable, because it's what is best for the baby
