No bashing please but I've quit smoking and now I'm battling severe depression. Anyone else??

your stronger than me. I couldn't quit. between the job I was at and the ppl I lived with it was smoke or jail.... I figured a cigarette was better

I'll be 14 weeks Monday. I broke down and had 1 and 1/2 today. Hopefully I'll quit altogether soon.

Don't feel bad I'm almost 12 weeks and still having a hard time quitting...I've cut down but and still trying but haven't been able to completely quit yet

as long as you're trying, you shouldn't feel like a bad person. it's tough to quit. as well as quitting cold turkey if you're a heavy smoker before becoming pregnant can stress you and your baby. you just gotta find. something that works with ya. like for me.. I get 3 cigarettes a day. after that my boyfriend hides my pack for the rest of the day. then I work with sunflower seeds. and we log the numbers of times I smoke. sometimes I'll smoke half, a full, maybe even 2 or 3 puffs. but never feel Terrible. the fact you're trying to stop shows you're motivated :) your hormones are gonna screw with you on smoking. just try to push through no matter what. I'm 28 weeks and if I go two days without one, my hormones cause me to spazz out and I become depressed or very irritated nicotine withdrawal is seriously the worst thing ever. @kcollins23

@misskaecolletto, thanks. So far I've went one full day without one others I had a half at night time and felt like a terrible person. Some days it doesn't bother me but today it's pretty awful.

don't allow allow anyone to bash you. it's VERY hard to quit. for me I fluctuate. granted a pack lasts a week for me still. but I'm still smoking and still trying very hard to quit under being watched by my boyfriend and OB. as long as you have motivation, it'll all work out. TRY to find something to do with your hands. sunflower seeds take helped me cut back and not touch cigarettes as much through the day. maybe try some painting. and of course think about that sweet sweet baby. hoping all gets well soon.

eat candy and lollipops to help curve the need. dreary weather doesn't help the depression try to stay busy and think bout your baby . I hope things get better with depression.

It's awful. I quit easily with my son but having a hard time with this baby and I've finally gotten down to none maybe a half at night. I'm just super depressed and the dreary weather doesn't help lol.

it's with drawl. it's tough to get thru but I have faith in both of you. I did it a while back and my so quit drinking and dipping. it's a tough thing to do. but y'all totally can!!! @kaylee116 @kcollins23

YES.. I quit smoking when I found out I was pregnant... I had a few after.. Because it was so so hard.. But they made me sick (thank the Lord) so I quit and I have been battling depression and I guess part of it is from quitting smoking!! Thankful I'm not the only one
