Has anyone had the chicken pots during pregnancy? I was watching my nephew and just found out he has them. I've never had them or been vaccinated so there is a 90% I could get it. Just wondering how serious it could be. Let me know please

It's really serious to get them while pregnant definitely call your doctor...
When I was pregnant there was a student at my school who had the chicken pox and even though I already had them and I never came in contact with the child I still had to notify my doctor. She didn't do anything but there were two other pregnant women in the building, same circumstances and their doctors had them do blood tests and get some kind of shot as an extra precaution... In adults chicken pox often require hospitalization so I'm sure your doctor will do something proactive
Well a lot of people say it's kinda bad getting them as an adult and it's better to get the chicken pox as a kid. If I were you I would call my doctor and ask just in case
Also said I have a 1% having serious complications sense I'm almost 22 weeks
