at what age did you start sleep training your kids and how long did it take for them to not wake up in the night or only wake up once in the middle of the night
Bath and bottle at 10 pm alone in the dark and she sleeps thru the night wakes up at 9 am she's been doing that since she was 2 almost 3 months. We started with her knowing the difference between day and night by it being bright during the day and everything dim when it's getting close to bed time. She's about to be 8 months now and still knows when bed time is.
bottle and bath before bed, though Im sure u already do that and also letting him wear hisself out after the bottle and bath
@cookie_murray, we cosleep most nights but he sleeps just as well in a basinet.
@monica810, I always play with him before bed or we watch a movie as a family
but also maybe plat with them before bed, make them tired, then stuff their belly lol
well at night I change baby (sometimes give her a bath be4 bed) get in my bed with her, turn on her fav cartoon and have her drink a bottle while holding/ rocking her, she passes right out
so now I'm going to do the cry it out method because he's so use to me babeing him that he dose not know any thing else , I feel kinda mean for doing it that way but I am trying to get him to sleep throughout the night or at least only wake up once .
@monica810, I'm a stay at home mom as well my son use to be on a schedule but since we relocated he's been not so scheduled anymore for what ever reason
oddly enough my baby was sleep trained as soon as I brought her home..she woke up every 3 hrs to eat, around noon we played, 3pm was nap time...she's 5 months now, goes to bed at 10pm, wakes up twice to eat at night like..4am and 7-9am, wake up at noon, nap at 3&6 then do it over again. I'm a sham so we do the same thing every day
I started sleep training as soon as she was born, she's been sleeping through the night, about 10 hours, since she was 4 weeks old!
