Does/did anyone else 14 month old still wake up in the middle of the night? We’re miserably tired all the time.
@lilbensmomma, no your fine! Thank you for trying 😭❤️ hopefully I can figure it out soon
I know I was just mentioning what my son and I went through but my bad for bringing that up again. Sorry I was no help I truly do wish you two find what works for both of you
@lilbensmomma, Noah hasn’t nursed since he was 2 weeks old. He’s on whole milk only with breakfast naps and bed time the rest of the time he gets snacks and juice. I’m not worried about anything we’re just both so tired all the time if he slept all night I feel like he would feel so much better and his schedule would be able to get nailed down better instead of having half a schedule
Hmm strange! Are you worried about it at all?? If so maybe talk to his doctor about it. See what she/he recommends. I know I struggled a lot after he turned a year while still nursing him but I felt he wasn’t eating much solids so I decided to give him til a year and a half to keep nursing and still didn’t each much solids so I called it quits on the nursing and now he eats a lot more and sleeps WAAAAY better. Good luck mama!🌸
@lilbensmomma, he’ll also have a baba and occasionally some kind of snack an hour or so before bed time. Sometime no snack and just a baba. I feel like he eats alllll the time but he still wakes up..I’ve tried constantly feeding him after dinner til bed time. Dinner then some puffs, yogurt, baba, noodles, cookies all kinds of stuff sometimes even a 2nd dinner!
@lilbensmomma, he ate all the time but when he eats it’s very little. He can tell me that he’s all done by throwing his food or cup on the ground. He’ll like start picking at his food and drop pieces on the ground like “I don’t want this anymore I’m done” so I let him down and he gets snacks and juice and milk at nap time..he doesn’t really eat breakfast because of the bottle he gets at 5am sometimes earlier than that. He’ll take a few bites of what I’m eating and be done then he gets a bottle for a nap then lunch and snacks then another nap baba a few hours later then dinner and snacks and juice then bed time baba.
I just read what @ace160, said.. I too let my son cry it out the night I weaned him off, I was holding him though but I wouldn’t give into it. Since then he sleeps through the night too. It’s hard but it worked for us. I hope it all works out for you mama:)) @noahs.mommy
Ah okay. Hmm does he eat plenty during the day?? I know when my son doesn’t eat as much during the day he’ll tend to wake up at night asking for food
@lilbensmomma, my son is on whole milk he hasn’t breast fed since he was 2 weeks old
My son would until we stopped nursing and he started eating more food. Are you nursing/bottle feeding??
@noahs.mommy, ahh yeah that would be hard I hope you find something to help... maybe get a room dividers and put it between his crib and you guys?? So he can’t see you
It's just a way of life at this point 😴 I think some gentle sleep training is a good idea for you guys.
@ace160, we sleep in the same room at the moment so he just stands there staring at me balling his eyes out if I don’t get up. For a while he just wanted to be in my bed and as soon as I sat down he would roll off me and fall asleep and that was it. Now he doesn’t do that 😭
Kaysen didn’t start sleeping Thur the night till he was 13 months old and it’s because his doctor told me I need to make him cry it out so I did hardest thing ever but took two days and he has been sleeping through the night since
@crazyazzmom, girl Noah was up til 11 last night because he took a 7pm nap and was all screwed up. He STILL woke up at 5am wanting his bottle and his aunt had fed him a crap ton of noodles and crackers like an hour before he fell asleep I was like WTH he was full and had a clean diaper why was my child awake 😭😭😭😭 then he only sleeps for 3 or 4 more hours I’m exhausted
@crazyazzmom, he only wakes up once but he still wakes up idk what to do about it 😭 he’s definitely old enough to where I wouldn’t feel bad if I attempted to leave him be and see if he goes back to sleep
No problem mama🌸 best wishes!
