Same exact boat as you! we invited like 80 some people from my side of the family and his side only like 8. His grandma and mom have been doing nothing but trying to control everything else we've done because my mom and SIL won't let them have any control over the baby shower since my mom's paid for all of it so far and they haven't offered anything. Ever since they've been set straight with that with that, every thing we decide they have something to say. Like we're moving 50 minutes away from them and it's closer to my family and they're all pissy about that because now they have to travel more to see their grandson since I straight up said I'm not lugging him around ohio to see people an equal amount of time being in school full time and working full-time also.

@snm2413, don't blame you there! It sucks having another family trying to control you and your life! Do what's best for you and you baby (: I'm sure your making the best decisions and they are over reacting

I will. and I know I'm making the right choices. They just don't like how my boyfriend has been listening to me more because he knows too that it's obviously our baby not theirs. Hopefully they warm up to it or at least start being a little more nice because in reality we control when they see him not the other way around.
