did all ya mama's get the flu shot? or some of ya didn't?

I never do, the 1 time someone made me get a flu shot I got the flu for the first time in my life, it was so bad i was put in the hospital

I did because I caught the flu once and it was horrible. I don't want to go through that while pregnant. Even the basic cold is awful during pregnancy. I agree with @lil_bigmama it doesn't cover all the types of flus.

It's ur call just realized u can get the flu by getting the shot ur injection a small bit of the flu in ur self it's ur call I say just stay away from sick ppl & germx

@bellahali, @ez, it's hard I would hate to get it and I get sick. and I would hate not getting it and still get sick..

I get the shot every year. And during peak flu seasons, I up my vitamin c intake too. Just to be safe. I deal with too many people's kids not cover my own @$$ and my kids too.

you can't get the flu from the shot and it can be very dangerous to get the flu especially when pregnant. I get mine every year.

I did and ended up getting sick with a cough

@momofmany, I never get it but I know it's dangerous while pregnant.. u think it's too late to get it now

flu season hasn't peaked in most places yet, it's not too late to get it! Just remember it takes about 2 weeks to build immunity and you might feel a bit under the weather a day or two after because your body is building an immune response to it but that's perfectly normal and not dangerous.
