they usually don't do abdominal ultrasounds until after 14 weeks because it's a lot harder to see baby.

right you're welcome I've honestly never heard of someone getting an abdominal ultrasound before 14 weeks.

I'm sure your baby is in there just to tinny ! Vaginal is better till around 14 weeks !

I got a vag u/s and an ab u/s at 8 weeks, ab only at 10w4d and an only at 13w4d. Was able to see baby all 3 times via ab u/s. Could be a difference of body structure from person to person though.

my doc did an ab ultrasound at 8wks n wasnt able to see anything besides the sac. she said it was cus of gas.

I had my first ultrasound at 9 weeks and 3 days and it was abdominal. I got it that early because I've had 2 miscarriages in the past & i had started bleeding soooo I rushed to the hospital. I know it's hard not to worry but try to keep your body stress free and just wait until you get the vaginal ultrasound done 😘

no problem. I totally get why your worried. once you have a miscarriage you can't help it but worry that much more. I'll be 27 weeks on Saturday & I STILL worry. ill pray for you that everything turns out fine 😊

Aww @ileengarcia I know how you feel .. I felt like something was wrong or asked What IF !! Your early in pregnancy and between 4-8weeks they can't see anything but the sac .. When you are 9 and up that's when they see the little precious angel.. But what I would do lol I would go to the Er and say I have stomach cramps and they do the ultrasound and all and I felt more comfy doing that cause of the machines they have .. Good luck doll ..

Good luck momma. but I will never in my life do a vaginal ultrasound. I had one two years ago at 9 weeks and I lost my baby at 12 weeks. My experience is not yours but my heart goes out to you. I hope that everything goes well.
