The pump was actually given to me and I just found out that I'm the 3rd to use it so it's no surprise that it stopped working. my insurance only covers a manual pump that I have so I'm stuck buying my own electric.

You can send in your Medela for a replacement pump, but I hear good things about spectra so go for that!

Spectra is by far my favorite! Much more comfortable than the Medela and it's a closed system which is more hygienic. A lot of people exclusively pumping moms swear by them too! It's also a hospital grade pump, which Medela is considered as well.

The amedas are really good. I switched to those after all the medela controversy.
