I really hate moving especially when I have to hurry and get my stuff out. I was notified last week of the day that I can start moving which was yesterday, but I only have till Thursday (tomorrow) to finish and turn in my keys. I'm a single mother of 4 and my property manager knows that I don't have any help, so it's going to be a lot to try and rush to get the job done on time especially with all this rain. Is there a way that I can get more time? She doesn't like to give her tenants more than 2 days to move out and I don't think that's fair especially when you don't have help.

My oldest daughters go to school so I have until 2 to do what I need to without them in the way but my 3 month old isn't on daycare yet so I need a sitter

oh okay well that's a little better than just being kicked out in 2 days. and yeah that's a little ridiculous. they should give you a little more time

@jazzy_kruger, Well I'm doing a transfer to another unit so technically I'm just moving from one building to the next on the same property but I still feel like 2 days isn't enough time to move

isn't it illegal for them to not give you a 30 day notice? I don't think they can just kick you out like that
