I know this may sound really bad but I'm going to ask it anyway because I feel bad: so I am 17 weeks pregnant I know I'm having a boy and I believe I have felt him move a little I was actively trying to conceive and we did and I was super happy about it but now I just feel like I don't have a good connection with him like I don't feel like I notice him much and I don't know I feel like I should be talking to him and doing all of this stuff so I'm wondering once I start feeling him more will I feel more of a connection or am I going to feel like this until he gets here :/
this is my first pregnant and I'm 17 to and im having a boy to and I feel the same any like I don't feel connected to him I try to talk to him but I just don't feel right or something I feel like im going to say something wrong or something so I just don't talk to him but he moves a lot
you will feel more connected when u feel him more and when you see that baby for the 1st time u will fall head over heels, it's love at 1st sight, there's nothing stronger than a mother's love.
thanks guys I really have just been feeling down about the whole thing and I'm starting to feel a little better
things will get better when you start to feel him more for sure.. I wouldn't say I was disconnected but I pretty much forgot I was pregnant all the time..sometimes forgot my prenatals cause I didn't feel pregnant..well until the morning sickness kicks in lol..but you'll get better I'm sure
Honestly with my first! I never felt that connection that I seen so many ppl talk about while pregnant! I never talked to my baby in my belly or nothing. But when I tell you I am head over heels for this little 6 year old! No one would ever know!
I just feel horrible like I don't know it's just not like a connected feel almost and he is my first so that's the other reason I asked because I don't know I feel like I don't know anything :(
yes u will. I was like that with my 1st born after a while u will snapp out of it and start to feel more connected
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

I felt the same way ! I started to feel fluttering movements arounds 12 weeks and when I felt her kicks around 16 weeks I felt like I wanted to talk to her and my mom kept telling me to speak to her. I felt really bad cause I didn't feel the connection quiet their but my husband did. Until they told me it was a girl and felt the first hard movements around 24 weeks I couldn't get my hands off belly and talk to her. Now I'm crazy about it, it will take time don't pressure yourself (:
