Dont beat yourself up about it, just wait till your in the hospital and in pain and youll see if you get it or not

you should look into nitrous oxide.. I told my doctor I don't want an epidural whatsoever, I don't want to deal with side affects years later, she told me about nitrous oxide

don't beat yourself up about it but our bodies where made for this! the lasting effects that an epidural can cause for me personally aren't worth it at all!

You'll have some time to decide after you go into labor. I'm the exact same way, though. Horrified of pain but horrified of needles. I'm pretty sure, when the time comes, it'll be intense enough that I'll opt for the pain relief.

my doctor told my it's the type of gas they put on you when you're at a dentist, it numbs you or something like that, she said it's better than epidural and a lot of girls are choosing it over the epidural. @jessmarlene26

I had my baby girl natural due to me having low blood platelets during my high risk pregnancy.I was scared months before just thinking about the pain,but once I got to the hospital I was ready wanting to meet her no matter what.This pregnancy is much diffrent,but also going natural,first of all because I'm a BIG chicken for needles and 2nd if I did it once I can do it again,unless God has better plans,go with your gut!

I am terrified of needles, but planned on having an epidural. then my platelets ended up being low and I couldn't have any needles put in me bc my blood wouldn't clot. So I ended up having to be put to sleep and have an emergency c section. Whatever the way your baby gets here, you won't care when your holding him/her in your arms :)
