STILL not dilated or effaced or soft. Going in Thursday night at 12 am ( pretty much Friday) to start cervidil to ripen my cervix and hopefully send me into labor. I'm soooo scared. Has anyone had cervidil??
She won't do it until I'm 39 weeks, Thursday is when I turn 39 weeks, I wanted t be a little further along like 39 1/2 but that's when they scheduled it @foreveryoung247
No, I'm just not progressing at all, and we don't think my body will do it on its own. She told me it was up to me, no that I could wait till 41 weeks and see if I've changed but if not then I will have to get induced still. So either way I'd have to have an induction @foreveryoung247
Are they inducing for medical reasons ? Only reason I ask is bc my midwife told me they won't do it until 41 weeks unless medically necessary
Thank you! I like positive stories lol, I'm so nervous. I get sooo stressed out about my little baby because I'm alway worried something wrong, she's completely healthy it's just I worry so much about everything lol, one of the reasons I'm getting induced
You're going to be great 😊 just try to Focus on your little one and your doctors will do the rest… They wouldn't do something to put you guys in danger
Yes! I'm sorry.. I flipped them, cervidil isn't a pill. I did have the balloon inserted as well.. Which was the worse part of my entire labor experience but I also had a resident Doctor Who looked like he just graduated middle school insert it… Ouch! Sorry I guess I'm not much help… But my induction produced a very healthy little guy and I had no complications myself.
Did you use cervidil? @sev1226 I read a lot about cyotec and I know it comes as a pill, but I heard that it's bad and not FDA approved and that a lot of babies die because of it and I'm like completely scared to death now
Ohh ok I see
