/sigh/ adjusting to being new parents is tough. I feel alone in taking care of our new son. I can't tell you the last time my husband changed a diaper, or did anything other than hastily and impatiently jam a binky in our son's mouth.
My husband feels alone in his working and house cleaning responsibilities, and I understand. I can't really clean much because I kind of just had major surgery to bring our son into the world, and said son keeps me infinitely busy.
Neither of us feel very appreciated. Both of us feel overwhelmed and alone.
Can't wait til I heal and get used to my new mommy responsibilities as much as possible so I can learn to balance baby care and housework.

In the same boat but my daughters 4 months old and my husband works 55+ hours a week. My daughter never see's him when he is around he plays video games or holds her for 5 minutes. Annoying! Lol but he's a good guy, I just think we need to have a talk about it. Have you tried telling him how you feel?
