Is fried catfish ok to eat while pregnant? My mom bought me some and I was looking at what some people were saying on google and some say it's good and some say none at all.

As long as you don't eat it every meal every day, it won't hurt.. I craved it my ENTIRE first pregnancy.. And I was told I wasn't suppose to have it. I asked my doctor about it, he said about 2/3 meals of fried fish a week was okay..

catfish is low in mercury so it's safe just don't eat it all the time.

This is the first time I've ate it during pregnancy because I've been iffy about it but since mom bought it I wasn't gonna turn it down. I don't eat it that much anyways.
