Hi :) was just wondering if anyone had a scan at 8 weeks.. I'm having a private one done as I just want to know…

Providing you are actually 8 weeks (as gestation can be less or more than you expect) you'll see something similar to my scan. I was 8 weeks 6 days

Well I'll be a little bit over 8 weeks then so hopefully even if they put me back I'll be around the 8 week mark.. those scans are lovely :) bit personal but was it internal or not? x

I had an external scan at 9 weeks but measured 8, had my 12week today and im back on track xx

Mine wasn't. It was abdominal

I dont have pic handy though but had scan at 9 week and measured 8 :) you wont see much coz baby will be very small .. but sure a heartbeat 😊 XxxX

That's all I'm really concerned about.. I just want to make sure baby is ok and there's a heartbeat :) very excited! Do you hear a heartbeat at that stage or just see it on the monitor? Sorry if I sound a bit dim this is my first baby and I don't know what to expect so all the help I get from here really helps so thank you all for replying 😁 xxx

just get your bladder full as possible it will be helpful I went at 8 and they said I was more 7 but I was just a couple days short xx but you see the heart beating etc xx I've never heard heartbeat through the scan only with the midwife xx

@clairey, you will be able to see a flicker.. flicking away. I still remember mine and was in tears 😢 My ob did mention when she was scanning 'here is the baby with his lil heart' Awww ... 😍bless that women...😊 .. but dont panic, sometimes you think that you are at this stage but u could be late. XxX do update us 😊

certainly, they don't use sound thingy as it could be very powerful for lil baby so u will just see. I am positive it'll be abdominal however it could b both depends on what ur scanner will prefer.. XxxX

this is mine at 8 weeks. I did hear the heartbeat however sometimes they can't hear the heartbeat until after 10 weeks so don't worry to much as stress is bad for the little one especially in your first 12 weeks. just relax and be careful with what you eat! congratulations!
