My mother in law fed my 6 week old son water last night. Just straight water. She told me after she brought him back to me. Is it safe to give him water?
my doctor said 6 months is OK and not to exceed 4oz a day. Formula fed babies already get the water but breastfed babies need a little extra.
my doctor said no for my son bc there formula or breast milk has water in it
Just because something bad didn't happen to your child doesn't mean it hasn't to someone else's! Do your research and you will see that it can cause harm and death to a baby. there is no reason that a baby needs to drink water.
Doctors say surgur water helps with the hiccups and I used to give my little a little at a time to help with them and she's just fine
No no no no no. It can cause water intoxication. They're not supposed to have water until 9-12 months and then it's not supposed to be more than 4oz a day. Several babies have died from their formula having too much water in it itself let alone drinking just straight water.
that werid because i was told if my son was sick or constipated its ok too give them alil water to help from keeping dehydrated my doctor and several nursing nicu friends told me this but as a mom its you decision
That site basically says everything a lactation expert consultant gave us in an orientation about breastfeeding and formula
Yea ik but regular water helps and it's more water then surgur cause u only ad a pinch or 2 of surgur
