I hate domestic violence! I don't care if it's a man hitting a woman, a woman hitting a man, two women hitting each other, or two men hitting each other. It all pisses me off! I grew up seeing that bullshit for 6 years. For 6 years I was powerless to help my mother as she got beaten at my feet. For 6 fucking years I saw them attack each other. Breaking each other down physically, emotionally, mentally. For 6 long and damaging years, I sat back and trembled as my mother screamed for me to help her. How could I help her?? I was 5 foot even and her bf was 5'11 and 100lbs heavier. How could I save my mother!?!? You know what pisses me off more? She never made him leave. She lied every time the cops were called. She begged that sorry piece of crap to stay as her eye was swelling shut. She begged him to forgive her as she limped for months because he broke her knee. How could she do that, think so little of herself that she honestly believed she needed him! How cruel. Now there's a couple doing the same thing to each other in the apartments under me. I hear the woman screaming and crying. I hear her daughters crying. I want to help so I call the cops. Guess what? They don't even open the fucking door! Ugh! Quit being so selfish! You don't understand what you're doing to your daughters! The mentality they will grow up with on how a man should treat a woman will forever be fucked up if they're not strong enough! They're so little!
