What kind of birth control can be used while breast feeding? I still have a while before my little one gets here but I want to have plenty of time to research and pick a good one

Nothing I was on the pills and got pregnant. I don't kno how it broke I noticed it one day it took 3 different appointments 3 different cuts in my arm before they got to remove it
@preciousp, that's horrible. how did that happen? what do you use now?
My nexplanon implant broke in my arm. Got a nasty scar to get it out I'll never get it again.
You can also get the Nexplanon birth control implant! That's what I have and I love it!
I've had my Merena iud since July and I haven't experienced any issues, not with breastfeeding or anything else. I love it :)

Merena iud. I actually don't use birth control but I was asking my friend who was nursing for over a year and she specifically got the iud because her doctor said it wouldn't mess with her supply. There is a risk that the iud will implant into your uterus- it's a slim chance, but it's one of those things you have to research and see what will work best for you.
