Very upset that I can't breastfeed as I planned too.. I wish i could because it's so much healthier for my daughter and I still have so much baby weight too lose 😔😔😔😔

I actually got mastitis very badly it put me in he hospital for 3 nights and I couldn't comprehend anything it was so bad.. The infection in my breast went septic (through my body and blood) and could have killed me if it got to my heart.. Luckily my mom forced me to go to the hospital knowing it wasn't "just the flu" like I thought. When I got there my fever was 103.7 and I'm TERRIFIED too feed her now.. I let my boobs dry up 😭🤒😫😕😞 @hellosweetie @lilshortgirl @sarah.griffy @tristan-makes-5

Don't beat yourself up momma. The important thing is that the baby is fed. Any milk you can give is a blessing.
Not that it's the end of the world, I just know it can be very upsetting when things don't go as planned :(

Oh sweetie...There is absolutely NO SHAME in taking care of yourself in this situation. Your baby will grow and learn the same on formula, there is nothing wrong with that! You are doing a great job mama, please don't feel bad this was a special circumstance and I would have done the same thing if that had happened to me! Breastfeeding is great but it doesn't alwahs work out, there are a lot of things like this that can happen, and for this reason formula is truly a blessing! Just think if you were in the times before formula...how would you feed yoyr child if this happened? It is a blessing. Keep up the excellent work mama, don't ever feel bad for something that was not in your control! You can't take care of your lil angel if you're ill or (God forbid) dead!!!
