English people and a lot of different Asian groups put milk in their tea (although it really depends on personal preference).
I love me a boba milk-tea! Just think like the Taiwanese Starbucks, but with tea instead of coffee, and it has huge chewy tapioca balls on the bottom. I love chewing on balls ... Oh wait ...
I'm a Texan and I have always put milk in my hot tea. Is that not common? Earl grey or English breakfast with skim milk? Yes please. Whole milk in coffee. Skim milk in tea. Is that a British thing too or just a jenbird thing?

I do two tea bags in hot water, one earl gray & one green tea. A splash of milk & a squirt of raw tupelo honey. So good! Drinking some now!
And this hairdo is ridiculous.
deleted-user·
Yup it's almost unheard if for us English folks to not have milk in our te,a I like it really strong and just a splash of milk - no sugar.
