Okay ladies who are pregnant or have been pregnant. Just got home from the doctor and Booger's BPM were in the 160's. Old wives tales say that if it's 160 or higher it's a girl (I still think it's a boy, despite everyone's protests that it's a girl lol) so I want to know, what was your little ones BPM? :) I'm just curious:)

148 for my first, girl. 170 for this one, boy.

Baby boy here has been between 153-168 <3 was told it'd be a girl based on that, but my instincts were correct and found out he's a boy! :)

yup me too thats why I shared :) I knew mine was a boy from the beginning and people kept saying he was a girl because of the high heart rate but he's all boy! good luck :)

@rykersmommy22, I know, I like hearing different experiences to compare and contrast to. I've heard many times that BPM don't matter, neither does symptoms or carrying high or low, I just like hearing stories from other mothers

my boy's BPMs are always high, high 150s and low 160s. the wives tale is wrong, if your baby is active he or she is going to have a higher heart thats the only thing that judges the heart rate is how active your baby is.

@firsttimemommy516, I know, that's why I mentioned that it's an old wives tale and that I want to hear from other mom's. I just do it for fun so I can compare and contrast:)

@miranda4, I know:) but everyone has a feeling it's a girl and I tell them all the time that they'll all be paying me $10 each when we find out booger is a boy lol

@miranda4, lol I would definitely want a girl then too! All my sister's have girls so I wanted to have the first boy lol

@miranda4, I want a boy, my boyfriend wants a girl so it's a split competition lol of course we'll be happy with either but everyone usually has their gender they want

My daughter had a low heart rate and my son had a high heart rate of 161

My twin boys were in the 160's in the beginning. They're both 140's now but it didn't change until about 16 weeks.
