Do you mean breastfeed and give baby breastmilk in a bottle, or breastfeed and give baby formula in a bottle? You shouldn't give a bottle until 6 weeks because they can give nipple confusion. So try to hold off on the bottle as long as possible. If you're formula feeding while you're away, you still have to pump every time your baby eats or your milk supply will drop or possibly dry up.
