you should talk to a fertility specialist.. also research PCOS.. it's a insulin issue with the body. I'd suggest starring a heathy foods diet, excersising, getting to a healthy weight and talking to a fertility specialist. a lost of women get prescribed metformin to help with the insulin issue to become pregnant. preseed may not help due to it won't help the root cause of your problem.

I have had that since I was 13. I actually got pregnant of birth control cuz my body don't ovulate so I took birth control for a few months and stopped it and got pregnant with in a few months. But that's my body. Everyone is different.

@aphrodite2014, It has nothing to do with insulin. That's diabetes. It has to do with not ovulating.

I have PCOS and they put me on metformin to help treat it and to also help me since I am pre diabetic. I would say it worked since I got pregnant while on birth control (forgot a few pills here and there). I am now due in March with a little girl. I would definitely ask your doctor about metformin though.

@jeanie, it does have to do with insulin production too I'm well aware of what diabetes is but there are other diseases such as PCOs that have insulin issues. PCOs is over all a hormone inbalance and insulin is regulated with the hormones.

@jeanie, and not ovulating had to do with hormone prodution. metformin is a drug used to help people with PCOs ovulate and also used to help diabetics control insulin levels.

@aphrodite2014, I have POCS. I have never had to do anything with insulin to take care of my hormone inbalance. And anything I have looked up about PCOS has never said anything about taking insulin.

your not taking insulin.... metformin is a drug to help control the body's insulin.. not everyone who is diabetic takes insulin either some take medications that help regulate the prodution of insulin....

and you can have PCOS and never take anything to concieve and still concieve but it's slim chances. and if you want to increase your chances most take metformin. however I know of an alternative natural route that alot of women have used and associated it with their success in becoming pregnanct

@aphrodite2014, I know that. Most of my family is a diabetic and I'm the only one that has ever been diagnosed with pcos.
