@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
Okay mommas, this is our second night home and little Ryder refuses to sleep in his bassinet. I’ve tried swaddling, feeding him before bed so he isn’t hungry, tried 3 different pacifiers, laid him down awake and asleep. Any ideas?? I just don’t know how else to get him to sleep in his bassinet and not in my arms at night. ** I had no problem with my other two boys laying in their beds but Ryder refuses to leave me.**
And I’m officially a single mother and will be loving, caring, and providing for my son on my own. My son will not have a father in his life which is sad very sad bc his mother tried so hard to co-parent and make something work out for the better. Did everything I could but I refuse to be disrespected for having a baby w/o knowing who the father is. But I rather have no father in my child life then the men I’ve dealt with to raise him or be apart of his life.💯💔Can’t force anything on anybody so I’m leaving it in Gods hands and will hope for the better.
Paternity I'm sure most of you know my story with the father of my son. We FINALLY did the DNA paternity test and results just came in! He is 99.999998% the father!! Dang it feels good to have hard proof. Tired of being made to look like I'm lying.
