I wouldn't throw the dress away, that was very nice of him. Just keep it and your boyfriend should grow up. I mean what are you going to do? You're with him and your having his kid... like what else does he need to not be so self conscious...

He is very insecure. I should've known better not to show him but i just got too excited. And of course while trying so hard not to i started crying out of frustration and now he thinks its because i love the guy. My husband says that would have made him uncomfortable too...it doesn't really seem like it was a gift for both of you, just a gift for you. Even if it was lovely, it would weird him out. Just an alternate point of view 💜

I mean when my man gets insecure like that I reassure him but I also stand my ground. Even if it was a present just for you (which I do understand might make your man uncomfortable) it's not that serious. Certainly doesn't mean you're going to like, leave your man. It's just a dress for your daughter.

my hubby would not have bean very happy ether but not because of being insecure or jealous or even that it was from another man.. just the simple fact that they guy hardly talks to you and is giving you gifts... my hubby mostly would go down to my work and ask the guy what the hell he is doing and scar the shit out of the guy lol but that's how my hubby is he is cool with me talking to other guys as he knows he is my one and only and I love him with all my heart and soul.... sounds like your man has trust issues and he should talk to you about them and maybe he should go talk to this Co worker of yours about what his motivation of giving you the gift was

how is anyone assuming that was a gift for you? that's a gift for you daughter, the daughter you're having with the man you're with.

Your coworker doesn't have to have a specific motivation for getting your baby girl a dress. You're pregnant he was just trying to be nice usually that's what happens when you're working and pregnant your coworkers do nice things for you.

its just your not far enough to have a huge bump, and if you don't talk to your coworker a lot, it would be a huge surprise. Then again, my husband would make it a point to give me as much money as I wanted to replace the dress with something better that we both could love...maybe ask to replace it and say you would love your daughter to have a cultural dress from your culture for pictures/keepsake. Giving it back so your coworker could give it to another little girl would be a VERY good choice, especially if it is as beautiful as you say, good idea!

My husband got underwear from his clients. He works as software consultant and the clients were all women and were very swoon over him. The underwear had their company logo on it. Lol he just keeps it in the box at his office. I thought it was hilarious. But in your case, I'm sure the guy was just really happy you're having a baby. Some guys get like that. Not because they like you or what not! Just probably saw it and felt like it would be a great gift!

I only see that guy maybe twice a month because he works on a ship and only time i get to talk to him is when it's crew change and (every other 3 weeks) I'm bringing him to the ship. First time i met him he was showing me pics of his newborn and how excited he was and i mentioned my pregnancy. But thats a good idea maybe seeing if my bf would replace it @tahtahme

@bellahali omg thats too funny. My bf would flip if someone got me underwear. I found that it was harmless and happy because he just had his baby and he knows how exciting it is.
