So pissedπ‘ I've been fighting the urge to take Ambien and I finally broke down and took one last night at 8pm after dinner. What no one told me was in order for the shit to work properly I needed to take it on an empty stomach. So here I am still wide awake π‘π‘π‘π‘π‘

How many mg? Don't take more than 10 mg tho. They shoulda start you with 5 mg. did you suffer insomnia before.

@missjuline, maybe you were tired in ED. But there's no correlation to an empty stomach. Certain meds to be taken before or empty stomach are usually given in the mornings at 7am.
I was in the Emergency room a few days ago and they gave it to me on an empty stomach and in 30 minutes I was out cold. Last night I broke down and took it 5 minutes after I finished eating and I've been wide awake since. Initially I felt a little groggy but never fell asleep
@missjuline, no not necessary. It's taken at night when you've already eaten. I usually give patients between 10-11pm
