If you weren't induced I'd say have somebody sneak you in a light snack. It's usually so you don't throw up! But being induced you have a higher chance of c section and belly should really be empty for surgery. Do you know how dilated you are? If you're progressing good and babys hb is okay through contractions I'd say to hell with it and eat something while the nurses are away lol.
The national anesthesiologists association said a few weeks ago that liquids would be ok during labor! Bout damn time...midwives have been telling them that for years! (Like chicken broth, etc, and I think maybe even light food like toast) Though I'm not sure hospitals will be catching up to that just yet 😕 Good luck-hope they'll let you get some ice chips down!

they said its actually better to eat while in labor since it could take hours even days

I hope my Dr let's me at least snack during my induction.

I know that does suck I got mad and snook some food from my sister lol... they got mad at me though because they didn't want me to eat just incase

ohh hell no I'll be mad AF! if I can't eat B4 labor I get more anxious grumpy n nauseous when I have no food in me !!! that's gonna be a problem!
