I miss my little sweetheart.... It's been 10 days since he was born and he'll be in the NICU for another five weeks or so. I spend most of my time there but it's tough to go home without him at night.... Especially since I am alone, his father and I aren't together. Even though I know they are taking amazing care of him and I feel lucky that he's doing so well, I can't help but get a little sad to leave him there

Awwww @ktwins188 luckily my little guy is pretty chill and mellow, he hardly cries! He can only come out of his incubator once a day for me to hold him skin to skin so they wouldn't hold him anyway..... But we are there at least 12 hours a day and do lots of touching and talking to him. The nurses have been wonderful. I just get sad cause I miss him!
I would hate leaving my daughter there. they told me they don't show the baby any kind of love or don't hold them while they cry just for feeding and it made me so sad I cried..
He was born 3 14, dropped to 3 6 and is now up to 3 11
