when mine were really mad, I used a nipple shield and it helped alot.

@micheleashley they were extremely dry and cracked and one side was so painful and would bleed. But now they are healed and don't hurt at all!!

Motherlove or calendula nipple whip! I hated how lanolin was think and sticky.

Soreness? I use lanolin cream after feedings when my nipples are sore. And it's perfectly safe for baby so you don't have to wipe them off before every feeding
