Hm what do you think about this: I'm currently engaged and both myself and my fiancé want to go ahead and tie the knot. My mother wants us to wait though. She thinks that it will effect my financial aid for college. My fiancé doesn't want to wait anymore though. I'm trying to figure out what to do and what would be the best option. Marriage would be really good not only because we really love each other but also because of the military assistance as well. Any advice will help!

Never good to rush something even when its what you both want, take the positive and negative of both sides and see which adds up more

I have been engaged for over a year. We are waiting until I'm done with school because of financial aid. I get everything paid for right now, but if we get married I would get nothing. We love each other and want to be married more than anything, but we aren't willing to add student debt to our lives because we couldn't wait two more years. This was a think with your brain, not your heart. When I graduate we will be getting married and will be able to afford a nice wedding because we won't be in debt! I would wait. Even though it does suck

I would get married!! If you love each other and don't want to wait then get married!! You guys aren't marrying your mom (not trying to be mean).
