Ok mommies- on a 2 day roadtrip and went to the bathroom at a gas station just now and a healthy amt of bright red blood came out. I haven't had sex and have had two good u/s. Scared. Any thoughts on if this is normal?

@boogersbugsanddirt- it was more like a heavy period, not gushing with no cramps. I'm nowhere near a hospital right now (rural area) and I was able to send pics, etc. She has my u/s from last week so I'm going to trust that all is good and watch the bleeding over then next few hours as suggested. Apparently this is very common. Can't find a new doctor when I'm 2000 miles away but will be at the ER if it gets worse. On the road now heading that direction just in case. Thanks for your concern! Also- thanks to you other mommies or mommies to be as well.
so you're gushing blood while pregnant and not going to the hospital?? I'm sorry but I've never heard of a Dr office saying not to worry or guessing that it's a hemorrhage over the phone. I would go to the er and find a new doctor.
Ok, got off the phone with my doctor and by everything I described they are almost 100% positive it's a subchorionic hemorrage(sp?) and not to worry. She said to monitor the bleeding and if I get bad cramps or it starts gushing (it's heavy period like now). She said worst case scenario if it was a miscarriage they couldn't stop it but since no cramps just go to the hospital tomorrow if I feel like I want an u/s to confirm all is good but she thinks it is and that the bleeding will slow over the next few days and to take it easy.
Long car rides are a no no they put so much stress on the body go to the er please bright red blood isn't good !
Go to the closest hospital and get checked out. Blood isn't good to see at any point during pregnancy. But esspecially bright red
